Dan Keldsen, Client Executive
Dan serves as the liaison between the business and technical representatives of client teams and NFP Health’s internal technical operations teams. He works to both translate and balance the short and long-term needs of clients into technical and operational reality, using Agile methods and tight feedback with all stakeholders.
With his background as an experienced technologist and consultant for more than 20 years, he has been involved in NFP Health’s implementations with HealthSource Rhode Island – leading the requirements gathering around Financial Management reporting, the ongoing monitoring and reporting on Service Level Agreements, operational dashboards and leading operational and development resources for both major and minor releases.
For Minuteman Health and the Federally Facilitated Marketplace (FFM) in New Hampshire implementation, he served as the program manager coordinating efforts between the bank, client, mail house, CMS.gov and NFP Health’s development teams to ensure that premiums were collected and applied successfully through ACH and lockbox processing.
Within NFP Health and affiliated company HSA Insurance, he leads internal optimization efforts, with a focus on customer service and operational efficiencies. These efforts often push improvements into client implementations and vice-versa, as lessons learned from every new and ongoing implementation are passed across projects and teams.
He is relentlessly focused on business and technology decisions that impact the customer experience, helping the company to focus on usability issues as well as operational channels (communications and development) to make sure that problems are readily and easily resolved.
Dan has over 20 years’ experience working as a technologist and consultant, with direct client experience in the health insurance industry, financial services, pharmaceuticals, “big box” retail, loyalty marketing, life insurance, Fortune 50 and federal and state government agencies.
Prior to joining NFP Health, Dan founded Information Architected in 2008 with long-time partner, Carl Frappaolo, former co-founder of Delphi Group. Services include Information and Enterprise Architecture, Employee Engagement Strategies, Social Media Strategies and Technologies, Enterprise Search, and Web 2.0/Enterprise 2.0 or Social Business Strategies and Technology Assessments. He remains a business/technology analyst, covering these spaces.
Prior to co-founding Information Architected, Dan was also the Director of Information Intelligence (Research and Analysis) at AIIM.org, a non-profit trade association for the Content and Records Management industry, was the CTO and a Senior Analyst/Consultant of the Delphi Group business unit after the acquisition by Perot Systems in 2004, and for the previous 10 years, started and managed the IT group of Delphi Group, while launching and expanding their Information Security and Search/Findability practices.
Dan is a frequent speaker, leading workshops and seminars, and keynoting industry events, and has been quoted in the Wall Street Journal, The Economist, InformationWeek, CMSWire and FierceContentManagement, among other publications.
