NFP Health has announced their sponsorship of the AHIP Health Insurance Exchanges Forum,March 12-13, 2015 at the Ritz-Carlton Washington in DC, in association with America’s Health Insurance Plans (AHIP).
Attendees will have the opportunity to join health care stakeholders who have been involved in the first two years of ACA open enrollment, whether they are involved as academics, consultants, state representatives or health plans.

Don’t miss NFP Health’s breakfast session on Friday, March 13th, 2015, about the Status and Future Outlook of SHOP. This session will discuss a retrospective look at Affordable Care Act Small Business Health Options Program (SHOP) implementations across the nation. Speakers will present an overview of the market as well as case studies of specific SHOP successes. Attendees will hear from speakers with direct experience in implementing SHOP solutions, as well as learn about the challenges that states have faced and will encounter in the coming months and years. Many factors play into the success or lack thereof seen in the past year, including online tools, broker engagement, competition with private marketplaces, Web Based Entities (WBE), regulatory/legislative decisions, number of participating carriers, and targeted outreach towards small businesses. Attendees will leave this session with an understanding of the challenges states will face in the coming years as well as the key issues that will impact SHOP enrollment success.
